From Scotland and with an MA and MBA from universities in Scotland I am a resident of Greece for close to 20 years. After some experience in shipbroking I entered the field of shipping finance in 1990 and spent the following decade in the shipping teams of some of the main ship finance providers in the Greek market - including Royal Bank of Scotland and Den Norske Bank.
In 1999 I established Teviot Consultancy Inc to offer independent financial services to shipowners. I am experienced in the US capital market and offer financial advise to companies considering becoming public and seeking alternative financial solutions.
Since 1990 I have had a close association with Marine Money International whereby I regularly contribute articles to the monthly magazine and arrange, through Marine Money Greece, the Greek, Istanbul and Dubai annual Marine Money Ship Finance Conferences.
